Its all-solid construction features a Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, paired with scalloped bracing for a warm, powerful tone rich in low-end depth and shimmering harmonics. Yamaha’s Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E.) treatment gives the wood the mature sound and sustain of a vintage instrument from day one.
Built in Japan with premium craftsmanship, the FGX5 offers superior playability and reliability. The Atmosfeel™ pickup and preamp system capture the guitar’s natural character with exceptional clarity, making it perfect for live performance. Elegant 1960s-inspired styling, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, and a high-gloss finish make it as visually striking as it is sonically impressive. A hardshell case is included for protection.
