The Yamaha FGX5 Red Label blends over half a century of guitar-making heritage with modern refinement in a dreadnought-style acoustic-electric built for stage and studio alike. All-solid construction, a Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides paired with scalloped bracing, gives a warm, powerful tone rich in low-end depth and shimmering harmonics, while Yamaha's Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E.) treatment gives the wood the mature sound and sustain of a vintage instrument from day one.

Built in Japan with premium craftsmanship, the FGX5 offers reliable playability throughout. The Atmosfeel pickup and preamp system captures the guitar's natural character with real clarity when amplified, ideal for players after dependable live performance. Elegant 1960s-inspired styling, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, and a high-gloss finish complete a guitar that's as visually striking as it is sonically impressive.
