The Furch Vintage Pure OOM-MM is a beautifully conceived all-mahogany small-body model that brings together the warmth, focused midrange character, and woody organic tone that solid mahogany construction uniquely provides - finished with Furch's distinctive Vintage Hand-Brushed treatment that gives the instrument the patina and tactile character of a guitar that has already lived a meaningful musical life. The African mahogany soundboard is the defining tonal choice here - a top wood selection of genuine distinction that produces a warmer, more midrange-focused and harmonically intimate voice than spruce, with a natural compression and sustain that rewards fingerstyle playing, singer-songwriter accompaniment, and expressive solo acoustic work with equal grace.

African mahogany back and sides complement the mahogany top to create a cohesive, all-mahogany tonal signature of remarkable warmth and organic character, while the Vintage Hand-Brushed finish on the soundboard with Full-Pore Satin finish on back and sides and Open-Pore finish on neck and headstock allows all surfaces to resonate with maximum natural freedom. Furch's CNR System Active neck joint automatically adjusts to humidity changes to maintain consistent playability, ebony fingerboard and bridge, TUSQ nut and fully compensated saddle, Furch Vintage machinehead at 1:15 gear ratio, artificial tortoise binding, double ring rosette with walnut inlay, and a faux tortoise pickguard with transparent fingerboard extension complete a specification of genuine refinement and considered tonal purpose.

Features

  • All-solid African mahogany top, back, and sides delivers a warm, focused, and organically resonant acoustic voice with natural midrange richness and a woody, intimate character that suits fingerstyle, singer-songwriter, and expressive solo playing ideally.
  • Furch Vintage Hand-Brushed finish on the soundboard evokes the patina and character of a well-aged instrument, allowing the mahogany top to resonate freely while delivering the tactile and visual warmth of a guitar with decades of playing history.

  • Furch CNR System Active neck joint automatically adjusts neck angle in response to humidity changes, maintaining consistent playability and virtually eliminating the need for costly neck resets over the guitar's lifetime.
