The Altamira FZ-3 sits at the top of the Fusion series, bringing an all-solid tonewood build to a crossover nylon-string platform designed for players who move between classical, jazz, and contemporary styles. The Torres-inspired body pairs a solid spruce top with solid Indian rosewood back and sides, a combination that delivers rich harmonic complexity, warm low-mids, and articulate highs that reward both fingerstyle and plectrum playing. A rounded cutaway and 16-inch radius fingerboard make upper register work comfortable and precise, while the Hanson Adjustable Neck System (ANS) ensures the setup stays dialled in over the life of the instrument.

At 640mm scale length and 48mm nut width, the FZ-3 occupies a practical middle ground between classical and steel-string dimensions, making it genuinely approachable for players from either background. The Fishman Prefix Pro pickup system provides full-featured amplified performance with onboard controls, and the all-solid construction means the guitar will continue to open up and improve tonally with age and play. A strong choice for performing musicians and serious players who want a crossover instrument built to professional standards.
