Experience the unmistakable sound and timeless appeal of the Gretsch G9200 Boxcar Resonator Acoustic Guitar. This faithful reissue of the 1930s classic captures the essence of the original design, delivering exceptional tone and playability. With its mahogany "long-body" construction and comfortable soft "V" neck, this guitar feels and sounds like a true vintage gem.
At the heart of the Gretsch G9200 Boxcar Resonator is the revolutionary "Ampli-Sonic" diaphragm (resonator cone), hand-spun in Eastern Europe from nearly 99 percent pure aluminum. This diaphragm produces a remarkable quality and volume of tone, allowing your playing to resonate with clarity and power. Whether you're strumming chords or picking intricate melodies, the G9200 Boxcar delivers a rich and vibrant sound that's perfect for folk and bluegrass genres.
Crafted with attention to detail, this resonator guitar features a vintage semi-gloss finish that enhances its classic aesthetic. The 1930's Gretsch 3x3 headstock and white dot position inlays add to its authentic charm. The spider bridge with ebony-tipped maple saddle ensures optimal string vibration and sustain. Equipped with Grover Sta-Tite die-cast tuning machines, you can rely on precise tuning stability.
