The Gibson Brad Paisley Signature is a limited edition of just 300 instruments, built by the luthiers in Bozeman, Montana to honour one of country music's most accomplished acoustic guitarists. Constructed in the image of the legendary 1942 J-45 round-shoulder dreadnought, this guitar combines a solid Adirondack red spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides and original 1942-spec scalloped red spruce X-bracing bonded with hide glue - a structure known for its superior strength and resonance. The hand-sprayed nitrocellulose lacquer Cherry Sunburst finish, multi-ply top binding, and tortoiseshell pickguard with engraved paisley design ensure this guitar looks as sublime as it sounds.

Paisley's own preferences are evident throughout - from the one-piece quarter-sawn mahogany neck carved to his preferred profile, to the narrower 1.625" nut width he specified, the 24-3/4" scale length, and the pre-War banner Gibson headstock logo that ties the guitar to its 1942 inspiration. A Fishman Ellipse Aura pickup and preamp system make this equally capable on stage, while mother-of-pearl dot inlays with paisley figures at the 12th fret, a Brad Paisley engraved truss rod cover, and a personally signed label complete a genuinely rare and collectible instrument. Each guitar ships with a form-fitting hardshell case with plush blue lining. This 2010-build is in great condition, with some light playwear throughout and a replaced bone saddle. The inside label appears to have gotten some slight moisture or oil exposure at some stage which has given it some light patina - if I had to guess, it's probably just some stray lemon oil from the fretboard. It's still clear and attached, but worth noting on such a rare instrument. A gorgeously-appointed slope shoulder that is just begging to be seen onstage! Includes original hardshell case.
