AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Gibson ES-137 Classic in Lightburst blends the elegance of a semi-hollow body with the power and versatility of a solid-body electric. Crafted in Gibson’s Memphis factory, this 2007 model features a laminated curly maple body with a solid mahogany centre block for added sustain and feedback resistance. A bound rosewood fingerboard sits atop a comfortable maple neck, providing excellent playability and visual appeal. With its subtle figuring and tasteful Lightburst finish, this ES-137 is as stunning as it is sonically flexible.
Loaded with a 490R/498T humbucker set, this guitar delivers everything from warm jazz cleans to gritty rock overdrive. Two volume and tone controls with a 3-way selector allow for classic tonal blending, while the Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece provide rock-solid tuning stability. Finished with trapezoid inlays, cream binding, and a distinctive 12th fret “C” inlay, this ES-137 Classic is a true workhorse for studio, stage, or home.
This 2007-built guitar is in superb condition, with miniml playwear and a great medium-low action - perfect for anything from smooth jazz lines to all-out rock and roll, with an airy, organic and refined tone. It's a beautiful-looking guitar too, with a subtle Lightburst finish and wonderful build quality throughout. The Classic is a rarely-seen model, and it has a sophisticated, luxurious feel that makes it hard to put down! Includes original hardshell case and COA.
