Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, this limited-edition recreation delivers the warm, balanced dreadnought voice that helped define generations of singer-songwriters. Its square-shoulder body shape produces powerful projection with a refined midrange, while the Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish, intricate Hummingbird pickguard, and double parallelogram inlays honour the classic 1960 aesthetic that made the original so beloved.
Premium vintage-styled construction elevates the guitar’s responsiveness and long-term character, including a mahogany neck with a smooth, comfortable feel and an exquisite Madagascar rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Handcrafted in Montana to True Vintage specifications, this model embraces the craftsmanship, tone, and visual detail of the “golden era” Hummingbirds. Whether you’re strumming with authority or picking out melodic lines, the Hummingbird True Vintage offers rich lows, clear highs, and the unmistakable Gibson warmth that only gets better with age.
This 2011-built guitar is in great condition, with light playwear and polishing swirls and what appears to be taping marks and scratches behind the bridge - it's impossible to see in the photos but it's worth pointing out! It's an absolutely gorgeous guitar despite that, with a perfect 60's style burst and the signature dry, woody and balanced tone that has made it the choice of everyone from Keith Richards to Gram Parsons. If you're looking for a vintage-voiced Hummingbird with high-end build quality, it just doesn't get much better. Includes original hardshell case.

Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Used instruments fall outside of our usual shipping policy, and shipping to most addresses will be $69 - $99, as shown at checkout.
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
