The Cort Gold DC-6 Acoustic Electric Guitar is a professional-grade instrument designed to meet the needs of serious performers, combining timeless dreadnought tone with modern playability and premium features. With free shipping Australia-wide, it’s an unbeatable choice for players seeking power, clarity, and rich acoustic projection in a gig-ready format.
At the heart of the Gold DC-6 is a torrefied solid Sitka spruce top treated with Cort’s Aged to Vintage (ATV) process. This gives the guitar a broken-in, vintage-inspired tone from day one—balanced, open, and incredibly dynamic. Solid mahogany back and sides add warmth and depth, while the hand-scalloped X-bracing ensures excellent resonance and response. The sonically enhanced UV finish protects the instrument while allowing the wood to breathe and resonate freely.
Designed for comfort and control, the guitar features a slim-taper mahogany neck reinforced with walnut and a smooth Macassar ebony fretboard. Premium components like vintage-style gold tuners, abalone rosette, and Macassar ebony bridge complete the look. The Fishman Flex Blend system makes the DC-6 equally impressive plugged in, offering versatile and natural-sounding amplified tone.
Key Features:

Solid mahogany back and sides for warm, balanced sound
