The Taylor Gold Label 814e draws on the golden era of 1930s and ’40s flattops, pairing a torrefied Sitka spruce top with solid Honduran rosewood back and sides for a warm, aged character with real projection. Its Super Auditorium body is deeper than a standard Grand Auditorium, giving the 814e a fuller, more powerful voice while keeping the comfortable, familiar Taylor feel underhand.

Fanned V-Class bracing and Taylor's Action Control Neck with long-tenon joint work together for exceptional sustain, dynamic range and rock-solid intonation, with the Curve Wing Honduran rosewood bridge and Crelicam ebony fingerboard adding responsiveness. Ivoroid binding and Continental inlays lend classic visual elegance, and the onboard LR Baggs Element VTC pickup system delivers natural, high-fidelity amplified tone, making this guitar ideal for fingerstyle players and strummers who want vintage-inspired tone with modern reliability.
