The Goodall Royal Hawaiian Grand Concert is one of the brand’s most celebrated high-end builds, combining striking visual detail with a refined, responsive voice. Crafted entirely from AAAA grade Hawaiian koa for the top, back, and sides, this instrument delivers a rich, harmonically complex tone that evolves beautifully with age. The compact Grand Concert body offers exceptional comfort and control, making it ideal for fingerstyle players and those seeking a more intimate, articulate response. The Royal Hawaiian features premium appointments throughout, including purpleheart binding, abalone detailing, and a detailed island scene inlay that reflects the model’s Hawaiian inspiration.

This 2005-built guitar was built in the Hawaii factory  a few years before Goodalls relocation to California, and the native Hawaiian Koa used throughout this guitar is stunningly flamed and of the absolute highest grade - photos don't capture the beauty and three-dimensional figuring on every surface of this guitar! It sounds phenomenal (and has quickly become a staff favourite), with a warmer, more mature and refined tone than you would expect from Koa. It's rich, warm and round, with a vintage charm and character that makes it hard to put down. There's minimal playwear, and only light polishing swirls, and it plays wonderfully. A true heirloom instrument that also happens to look incredible. Includes original hardshell case.
