The Furch Green Deluxe Gc-TR is a brand new 2026 addition to Furch's Deluxe Package lineup - a guitar conceived specifically for discerning acoustic players who prioritise maximum playing comfort alongside the purest possible unplugged acoustic experience. The defining tonal feature is a torrefied AA-grade Sitka spruce soundboard, aged through Furch's proprietary torrefaction process to replicate the natural cellular changes that occur in tonewoods over decades of play - the result is a top that delivers improved responsiveness, a wider dynamic range, and a warmer, more open tonal character with a subtly darker, vintage-inspired appearance from the very first note. Paired with AA-grade Indian rosewood back and sides - a tonewood celebrated for rich overtones, clear articulation, and deep, well-defined bass - the Green Deluxe Gc-TR produces a harmonically complex and dynamically powerful acoustic voice with authoritative lows, focused mids, and clear, articulate highs equally well-suited to expressive fingerstyle playing and strumming.

The Deluxe Package specification adds two features that set this model apart from the standard Green Series: the Bevel Duo ergonomic system with forearm and rib bevels for exceptional comfort during extended playing sessions, and the Booster Soundport - an innovative side port that reduces internal air pressure, allows the top to move more freely, and directs sound toward the player for a more immediate, immersive, and resonant acoustic experience. Furch's CNR System Active neck joint automatically adjusts neck angle in response to humidity changes, maintaining consistent playability and virtually eliminating the need for neck resets. Full-Pore High-Gloss finish on the top and Full-Pore Satin finish on the back and sides, artificial ivory binding, five-layer black and white purfling, double ring rosette with walnut inlay, white mother-of-pearl fretboard and side position dots, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and a polished ebony headstock overlay complete a refined, natural aesthetic of considerable elegance.

Features

  • Torrefied AA-grade Sitka spruce top, individually voiced, delivers improved responsiveness, wider dynamic range, and a warmer, more open acoustic character - replicating decades of natural tonal maturation from the very first note, with a subtly darker vintage-inspired appearance.
  • AA-grade Indian rosewood back and sides contribute rich overtones, clear articulation, and deep, well-defined bass - combining with the torrefied top to produce a harmonically complex, dynamic voice that rewards both expressive fingerstyle and full-range strumming.
  • Furch Booster Soundport reduces internal air pressure and directs sound toward the player, allowing the top to move more freely for stronger, fuller projection and a more immediate, immersive acoustic experience during unplugged playing.
  • Bevel Duo ergonomic system with forearm and rib bevels significantly reduces arm and body pressure during extended playing sessions - manufactured with 3D printing technology for maximum precision and a refined visual integration with the instrument's body.
  • Furch CNR System Active neck joint automatically adjusts neck angle in response to humidity changes, maintaining consistent string action and virtually eliminating the need for costly neck resets over the guitar's lifetime.
