The Furch Green Master’s Choice Gc-TR represents the flagship specification of the Green Series - a Grand Auditorium cutaway acoustic-electric that brings together every significant innovation Furch has developed for stage performance, tonal excellence, and long-term playability in a single instrument of exceptional ambition and refinement. The Master’s Choice designation signals a level of material selection, voicing precision, and feature specification that sits above the standard Green Series - most significantly in the individual voicing of both the torrefied Sitka spruce top and the Indian rosewood back soundboard, a process that fine-tunes each surface independently for optimal balance, responsiveness, and projection across the full tonal range.

The torrefied Sitka spruce top has been carefully aged through Furch’s proprietary torrefaction process, replicating the natural cellular changes that occur over decades of acoustic development - the result is a top that delivers improved responsiveness, a wider dynamic range, and a warmer, more open character from the very first note, with a subtly darker, vintage-inspired appearance that complements the instrument’s premium aesthetic. The Booster Soundport reduces internal air pressure within the body, allowing the top to move more freely for stronger, fuller sound projection with the same strumming effort, while also directing sound toward the player for an immersive and accurate monitoring experience on stage. The black Bevel Duo - forearm bevel at front, rib bevel at rear, manufactured with 3D printing precision - provides a meaningful increase in playing comfort for extended sessions. LR Baggs HiFi bridge-plate dual sensor electronics, Master’s Choice fretboard inlay at the 19th fret, white pearl linear side position markers, CNR System Active neck joint, full-pore high-gloss top finish with satin back and sides, and chrome Furch machine heads at 1:18 gear ratio complete a flagship specification of exceptional coherence and tonal purpose.

Features

  • Individually voiced torrefied AA Sitka spruce top and individually voiced AA Indian rosewood back soundboard deliver a rich, dynamic acoustic voice with articulate trebles, complex midrange, deep controlled bass, and excellent note separation - each surface optimised independently for maximum tonal balance and projection.
  • Booster Soundport reduces internal air pressure to allow the top to move more freely for stronger, fuller sound projection, while directing sound toward the player for an immersive and accurate monitoring experience on stage.
  • Black Bevel Duo - forearm bevel at front, rib bevel at rear, manufactured with 3D printing precision - provides meaningful ergonomic improvement for extended playing sessions without compromising the instrument’s aesthetic.
  • LR Baggs HiFi bridge-plate dual sensor system captures both string and body response with excellent balance, definition, and dynamics, providing a natural, clear, and feedback-resistant amplified acoustic tone.
  • CNR System Active neck joint automatically adjusts neck angle in response to humidity changes, maintaining consistent string action and minimising the need for costly neck resets over the lifetime of the instrument.
