The Gretsch G6120T-59 Vintage Select '59 Chet Atkins Hollow Body is a faithful revisitation of the hollow-body instrument that helped define the sound of rockabilly, country and early rock and roll through the hands of one of its greatest practitioners. This Vintage Select edition honours the specific 1959 configuration with period-correct trestle bracing, a vintage V neck, TV Jones Classic Filter'Tron pickups and a Bigsby B6CVT vibrato, finished in the Vintage Orange Stain lacquer that has become one of the most recognisable colours in electric guitar history. The laminated maple hollow body with 1959-style trestle bracing delivers the snappy, acoustically resonant vintage tone that made the G6120 a cornerstone of American popular music.

Dual TV Jones Classic Filter'Tron pickups with Gretsch Squeezebox capacitors provide the characteristic snappy, clear and harmonically complex Filter'Tron voice, while aged white binding with black purfling, aged pearloid thumbnail inlays, a gold plexi pickguard with Chet Atkins signature graphic and Grover V98 Sta-Tite open-back tuners complete an instrument of genuine vintage authenticity, ideal for rockabilly, country and rock and roll players chasing authentic late-1950s Gretsch tone. This 2019-built example is in wonderful condition with very little playwear and a fantastic, slinky action, complete with its original hardshell case.
