The Gretsch Jim Dandy Parlor brings vintage soul and small-body charm into the modern era, inspired by the original "Rex" guitars from the mail-order days of the 1930s to '50s. This compact parlor guitar is ideal for roots, blues and folk players who love that dry, boxy tone and midrange growl, with a short 24" scale and X-braced laminate body that's comfortable to play and surprisingly resonant.
The Jim Dandy Parlor features select laminate construction, a comfy "C"-shaped neck and a walnut fingerboard, ideal for fingerpickers and songwriters. Vintage-style details like pinstripe purfling, a G-branded pickguard and open-gear tuners give it unmistakable Gretsch style, suited equally to front porch blues and backroom swing.
