The Guild D-240E delivers the big, balanced dreadnought tone players expect from the format, pairing a solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides for warmth, clarity, and power. Guild's arched back design adds structural stability and contributes extra volume, sustain, and resonance, giving the D-240E a responsive, dynamic voice suited to strumming chords or picking out lead lines.
A Fishman GT-1 pickup system makes the D-240E stage and studio ready with a natural amplified tone, while a Pau Ferro fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, and a period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard round out the specification. Finished in matte polyurethane with a mother-of-pearl rosette, the D-240E is ideal for players who want an affordable, road-ready dreadnought from Guild's Westerly Collection.
