AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Guild D-240E delivers the big, balanced tone that dreadnought players love, pairing a solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides for warmth, clarity, and power. Its arched back design—an iconic Guild feature—not only enhances structural stability but also contributes to impressive volume, sustain, and resonance. Whether you're strumming chords or picking lead lines, the D-240E responds with rich, dynamic sound perfect for any style.
Outfitted with a Fishman GT-1 pickup system, the D-240E is stage- and studio-ready with a natural-sounding amplified tone. Additional appointments include a Pau Ferro fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle for enhanced sustain and clarity, and a period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard. With its matte polyurethane finish and mother-of-pearl rosette, the D-240E is an affordable yet refined take on a classic dreadnought.

We endeavour to show the actual instrument in stock whenever possible, but the guitar in stock may differ slightly from the one shown on our website. Materials used can look different from guitar to guitar, including timber grain and colour, parts colours and finishing. If an instrument is a one-of-a-kind or preowned guitar, the picture will always be of the actual guitar in stock, but production models may have slight variations to the picture shown.
If you're after a particular look, feel free to email us at info@acousticcentre.com.au or send us a message through our chat service to request photos of the actual guitar in stock. We are more than happy to send through pictures of all in-stock guitars, to make your choice easier.
