Martin D-28 Acoustic Guitar: Standard Series 2025

The Martin D-28 Standard is a true icon among acoustic guitars, revered for its bold dreadnought tone and legendary legacy. This refresh honours its vintage heritage with Golden Era forward-shifted X-bracing beneath a solid spruce top, delivering increased resonance and responsiveness. Paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides, the D-28 offers powerful bass, clear trebles, and rich harmonic depth that has defined the sound of countless recordings.

A select hardwood neck with Martin's GE Modified Low Oval profile and 1.75" nut width provides smooth, modern playability across the sleek ebony fingerboard. Aesthetically, the D-28 remains faithful to its roots with antique white binding, a multi-stripe rosette, a faux tortoiseshell pickguard, and nickel open-gear tuners, while the thinner bevelled fingerboard and vintage-style heel bring comfortable modern refinements, making it ideal for serious players who want the benchmark dreadnought in their hands.
