The Atkin Thirty Eight is a slope-shoulder powerhouse designed for players who love the depth, authority, and piano-like clarity of a great dreadnought-style acoustic. Built with a longer 25.4" scale length, the Thirty Eight delivers increased string tension and projection, driving the top harder for enhanced volume, definition, and dynamic range. The combination of baked Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood produces a rich, expansive voice with strong low-end presence, clear trebles, and a beautifully balanced midrange.

True to Atkin’s vintage-inspired philosophy, the Thirty Eight features scalloped X-bracing, an aged or mirror nitrocellulose finish, and elegant detailing throughout. The mahogany neck and bound Santos rosewood fingerboard provide a smooth, confident playing feel, while classic appointments such as double diamond inlays and cream celluloid binding complete the timeless aesthetic. Effortless to play yet tonally commanding, the Thirty Eight is a refined, soulful instrument built for serious acoustic musicians.
