The Gretsch Jim Dandy Deltoluxe Parlour Acoustic Electric Guitar is a modern homage to Gretsch's classic "Rex" line from the 1930s, '40s and '50s, offering vintage-style playability with genuinely modern sound. Its compact parlor body and short 24" scale length deliver a clear, throaty midrange that parlor guitars are known for, and the lightweight laminate tonewoods and X-braced body provide excellent balance, making this guitar both easy to play and durable, with a "C"-shaped neck adding further comfort for extended sessions.
Equipped with the onboard Gretsch Deltoluxe magnetic soundhole pickup, this guitar moves fluidly between acoustic warmth and electrified tones, capturing the guitar's natural sound while offering versatility with effects pedals for live performance and studio work. Classic details like the vintage-style pinned bridge, "G"-graphic pickguard and open-gear tuners give the guitar an authentic retro aesthetic, while oversized dot inlays and painted pinstripe purfling complete the nostalgic look, making it ideal for beginners and experienced musicians who want a versatile, characterful parlor-sized companion. A budget-friendly choice for a first acoustic-electric guitar.
