The Gretsch Jim Dandy Parlour 'Frontier Stain' is a modern tribute to the historic "Rex" line of instruments offered through mail-order catalogues in the 1930s, '40s and '50s. Its petite, portable parlour body shape and short 24" scale length give it the distinct tonal clarity and throaty midrange for which parlour guitars are beloved.

The X-braced body, crafted with select lightweight laminate sapele, balances vintage tone with reliable durability, and the "C"-shape neck presents an inviting feel for hours of play. Period-correct details such as a vintage-style pinned bridge, "G"-graphic pickguard, painted pinstripe purfling and oversized dot inlays make it ideal for newcomers and experienced players alike.
