The Alvarez Laureate series represents a genuinely bench-made approach to acoustic guitar construction, with every brace, bridge plate, and piece of kerfing hand-selected for quality before it ever reaches the build. The LD60EHFSS features a solid AAA North American Sitka spruce top paired with solid African mahogany back and sides, finished in a striking Sunset gloss burst. Hand-sanded FS6 forward-shifted bracing, cut from quartersawn Sitka spruce, helps the top breathe freely and respond with clarity and dynamics across the full frequency range.

Appointments throughout are top-shelf: an ebony bridge, fingerboard, and headstock plate deliver articulation and note separation well beyond this price point, complemented by premium abalone inlays and ivoroid binding for a refined, understated look. A bone nut and saddle, open-gear tuners, and an LR Baggs HiFi pickup system round out a guitar that performs equally well unplugged or through a PA, making it a strong choice for gigging singer-songwriters and discerning players who want real tonewoods and quality hardware without compromise.
