The Taylor Legacy 914ce expands the acclaimed Legacy Collection with a return to the classic tonal and aesthetic blueprint of the original 914ce. This Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar features a hand-selected Engelmann spruce top paired with Indian rosewood back and sides, delivering a lush, harmonically rich voice with shimmering top-end clarity, warm lows, and a slightly scooped midrange. Legacy X-bracing enhances tonal depth and dynamic range, while the Venetian cutaway provides easy access to upper frets, making this model a versatile performer for both fingerstyle and strumming.

Visually, the Legacy 914ce is outfitted with elegant Cindy inlays in green abalone, honoring Bob Taylor’s wife, and adorned with rosewood binding and red-accented purfling. Gold hardware, a gloss body finish, and the understated beauty of the West African Crelicam ebony fretboard round out the premium details. Equipped with an LR Baggs Element VTC pickup system for natural-sounding amplification, this guitar blends Taylor’s heritage craftsmanship with modern playability and stage-ready electronics.
