AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
\The Atkin Black Pearl Forty Seven is a small-bodied acoustic that delivers far more power and depth than its compact size suggests. Lightly built and X-braced, this model excels at fingerstyle playing with exceptional clarity and responsiveness, while still offering enough punch and projection for confident flatpicking. It’s a beautifully balanced instrument inspired by pre-war designs, refined for modern players.
A baked Sitka spruce top paired with maple back and sides gives the Forty Seven a focused, articulate voice with surprising low-end authority. Pre-war scalloped bracing enhances bass response and dynamic range, while Atkin’s comfortable C-shaped mahogany neck replaces the oversized necks found on many vintage examples. Finished in aged nitrocellulose lacquer with striking pearloid appointments, the Black Pearl Forty Seven blends vintage character with contemporary playability.
