Its solid A+ Sitka spruce top is paired with African mahogany back and sides, and FS6 bracing keeps the treble and bass registers clearly present and well balanced against each other, avoiding the boxy or muddy voice that can affect smaller guitars. Part of the Alvarez Artist Series, the LJ2 carries an open, powerful sound with plenty of personality.

Onboard SYS250 electronics with a backlit tuner make the LJ2 easy to amplify for stage or studio use, while the African mahogany neck, Indian laurel fingerboard and bridge, and bone nut and saddle keep the playing feel smooth and comfortable.
