AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Lowden S-23 is a timeless classic, offering an intimate and immersive playing experience. Featuring a combination of medium-hard AAA Walnut back and sides with a carefully selected Red Cedar top, this guitar delivers a rich, Celtic-infused sound that invites players to keep coming back for more. As the first small-bodied steel-string guitar designed by George Lowden in 1976, the S-23 has maintained its classic design and exceptional sound for over 45 years, making it a standout in the Original Series.
The S-23 is renowned for its warm, loud, and well-balanced tone, with a voicing that accentuates the bass and provides excellent clarity in the treble range. Its 5-piece Mahogany and Rosewood neck, along with an Ebony fretboard and Rosewood bridge, offer exceptional playability and stability. The maple bindings and multi-wood top purfling add an elegant touch to this all-wood design, finished with a full satin finish for a refined, smooth look and feel. The guitar comes with a Lowden hardshell case for protection and convenience.
