AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The LR Baggs AEG-1 blends classic acoustic tonewoods with boundary-pushing design for a stage instrument that feels sleek yet sounds huge. A torrefied solid Sitka spruce top and solid rosewood back are inset into lightweight composite poplar sides, then supported by scalloped X-bracing and an integrated neck support. The result is a thin, comfortable body that responds like a full-size acoustic—woody lows, punchy mids, and articulate highs with excellent projection and sustain.
Plugged in, the AEG-1’s HiFi Duet system (HiFi bridge-plate pickups + Silo mic + studio-grade preamp) delivers a blendable, feedback-resistant voice that captures nuance and dynamics on any stage. A fast African mahogany neck with a modern “C” profile, deep cutaway, and 16"-radius Indian rosewood fingerboard invites effortless playability all the way to the 20th fret—ideal for fingerstyle detail, rhythm work, and soloing alike.
