The Martin D-12E Retro delivers classic dreadnought power with modern performance features, wrapped in timeless Martin style. Built around a full-size D body, it offers bold projection, strong low-end response, and excellent clarity—making it an ideal choice for strummers, flatpickers, and players who need a commanding acoustic voice to support vocals or ensemble work. A full gloss finish with aging toner adds visual depth while nodding to Martin’s heritage designs.

A solid spruce top paired with solid sapele back and sides provides a balanced tonal profile with punchy lows, clear mids, and controlled highs, enhanced by scalloped X-bracing for added volume and responsiveness. The Performing Artist neck profile ensures smooth, modern playability across the fingerboard, while vintage-inspired Old Style 18 dot inlays and nickel open-gear tuners reinforce the guitar’s traditional character. With Martin E1 electronics, a built-in tuner, and a softshell case, the D-12E Retro is built to perform reliably wherever your playing takes you.
