AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Martin HD-28V delivers that unmistakable rosewood dreadnought power with a distinctly vintage voice—huge low-end, rich overtones, and a clear, singing top end that holds together whether you’re flatpicking bluegrass runs or driving big open chords. With a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, it’s the kind of guitar that feels instantly familiar yet endlessly inspiring.
Vintage-style appointments round out the experience, from classic herringbone top trim and the traditional zig-zag backstripe to an ebony fingerboard and a vintage-style belly bridge. Add Martin’s scalloped X-bracing for quick response and strong projection, and you’ve got a dreadnought that can be both thunderous and nuanced - perfect for stage, studio, and everything in between.
This 2007-built guitar is in well-played but great condition. There's light playwear, pickwear to the top and polishing swirls throughout, but no cracks or dings and it sounds incredible - played-in and aged perfectly, it sounds just like a great old Martin dreadnought should! The original saddle has been lowered from the bottom, but the neck set is perfect. It's got the classic thunderous Martin tone with a lively, sparkling top end and incredible headroom. An absolute classic in every sense. Includes original hardshell case.
