Martin Luxe Kovar Nickel / Cobalt Acoustic Guitar Strings

Martin's Luxe Kovar acoustic guitar strings pair a Superior Performance core with a Kovar alloy wrap, a nickel-cobalt blend that delivers clear, smooth response and a comfortable playing feel. Kovar's natural corrosion resistance extends string life, keeping tone and performance consistent even after hours of play.

Tonally, Luxe Kovar sits in a distinct sweet spot: brighter than Monel yet warmer than phosphor bronze, giving definition without harshness. The low-tension, flexible design supports effortless fretting and precise articulation, making this set ideal for fingerpicking and players who use magnetic pickups for a balanced, characterful amplified tone.
