AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Martin OMC-16GTE is a versatile acoustic-electric guitar that combines classic Martin tone with modern player-friendly features. Built on the comfortable OM platform with a Venetian cutaway, it offers excellent access to upper frets and enhanced player ergonomics. The solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid sapele back and sides delivers a well-balanced tone with a strong lower midrange, clear highs, and a rich projection—ideal for fingerstyle players and strummers alike. The guitar’s deeper body adds extra volume and punch, making it a great choice for both stage and studio use.
A modified low oval mahogany neck with a smooth Black Richlite fingerboard ensures a fast, comfortable playing experience. The onboard Roland COSM preamp system provides natural, articulate amplified sound with easy-to-use controls. Finished in polished gloss, this guitar also features tasteful appointments like a herringbone rosette and a small tortoise pickguard. With its superb tone, modern electronics, and elegant styling, the OMC-16GTE is a fantastic option for any guitarist seeking performance and versatility.
This 2013-built guitar is in good condition for it's age, with light playwear to the top and evidence of few small repairs over the years - likely a neck reset and crack repair near the neck join below the binding, reglued bridge and some binding repairs, and some lacquer-level scratches and scrapes on the body. It's playing beautifully though, with a great medium action and a powerful, thick tone that belies it's amll size. Designed as a gig-ready Martin OM, it's the perfect choice for a performing guitar thanks to it's balanced weight, onboard pickup and cutaway, and has the classic Martin low end punch and headroom. The perfect gigging Martin! Includes original hardshell case.
