The iconic small body acoustic "808" from Maton. Featuring solid Blackwood back and sides with a AA Solid Spruce top. The combination of a solid Sitka Spruce top with solid Australian Blackwood is superb. The Blackwood delivers a warmth and breadth in the lows and low mids but still maintains beautiful definition and projection. Combine this with the resonance of a solid spruce top and you have a guitar that is voiced perfectly for acoustic or live performance. Tonally balanced and incredibly responsive, the EBG808 is the perfect performers guitar. 

This model is finished in traditional satin lacquer, which allows the timbers to resonate more freely and helps deliver the true tone of the guitar. Maton's AP5 Pro Pickup System is included for an amazingly natural plugged in tone that works in all live applications. Designed for the gigging guitarist, the low end is controllable and workable whilst mids and top end cut through the mix with ease. Come complete with a Maton hard case.
