The Maton ER90C Traditional is a deeply considered and tonally refined instrument that draws on three of Maton’s most celebrated design chapters - the ER90C, the 75th Anniversary Traditional, and the Custom Shop CS Classic - to produce an OM-style cutaway acoustic-electric of exceptional balance, nuance, and expressive capability. The Traditional body shape is more intimate than the ER90C Dreadnought, with a thinner body depth inherited from the CS Classic that gives this guitar a physically comfortable and tonally focused character: less low-end mass than a full dreadnought, more clarity and balance across the tonal register, and a naturally detailed acoustic voice that rewards fingerstyle players and singer-songwriters who want tonal nuance and note separation over sheer volume.

This example has been finished in Acoustic Centre’s custom ‘Tuxedo’ treatment - full body satin black with white binding and white pickguard - a combination of stark elegance and visual drama that takes the ER90C Traditional’s already refined aesthetics to a striking and entirely distinctive place. The satin nitrocellulose lacquer preserves maximum resonance and tactile naturalness across the body and neck, while the full black finish against white binding creates a visual character that is unmistakable and immediately arresting on any stage. Solid AA Sitka spruce top with scalloped and forward-shifted X-bracing delivers the clear, projecting, and dynamically expressive voice the ER90 series is celebrated for, while solid Indian rosewood back and sides contribute the deep, warm, and harmonically complex tonal character that makes spruce and rosewood the most enduring pairing in acoustic guitar making. Triple pinstripe violin purfling inner binding, herringbone soundhole rosette, streaky ebony fingerboard and bridge, streaky ebony headstock overlay with Maton logo, mahogany neck, gold Grover Rotomatic tuners, bone nut and saddle, pearl dot inlays, and Maton AP5 Pro pickup system complete a Custom Shop-quality specification of genuine refinement and performing capability.
