Looking for the perfect capo for your Maton guitar? Look no further than the G7th Performance 3 with its Unique Tension Control system and Adaptive Radius Technology. This capo is the culmination of years of research and design, with a special edition featuring an etched Maton Logo.

The G7th Performance 3 capo is designed to adapt to the true curvature of your guitar's fretboard, providing even pressure across all strings and setting a new standard of in-tune, buzz-free use. Its Unique Tension Control system lets you adjust the pressure on your strings with intuitive one-handed operation, ensuring you can keep your Maton guitar in tune, whether it's an acoustic or electric.

Not only is it easy to use, but it's also versatile enough to work with any steel six-string acoustic, electric or hybrid nylon string guitar. And with its compact design, you can store it easily behind the nut for quick and easy access or on the headstock.

At Acoustic Centre, we understand that guitarists have different preferences when it comes to capos, and that's why we offer the G7th Performance 3 capo in three sizes: Standard for your dreadnought or jumbo, 808 for all 808-sized and Performer models, or Mini for all Mini Maton models. So, whether you're an experienced player or just starting out, you can trust our trusted local guitar shop and online guitar store to provide you with the best capo for your Maton guitar.

I am just an old fellow that still loves to play his old Maton and, in my garage with my laptop, I sing and play along to, usually, old Irish songs, thanks to YouTube and Chordify. I have arthritis in my hands which hasn't helped, but that's life. Because my hands are therefore, quite weak, I was having trouble with capos, which are essential for me. I've had had a few small purchases from ACOUSTIC CENTRE and, small or not, THEY WERE GENUINELY HELPFUL. I raised the question about capos and they went into detail and I decided on the G7, which they said was a good choice.... I arrived this morning, AND SPOT ON TIME. The capo is PERFECT. A big THANK YOU!

I will definitely & happily remain a customer, but never again for the Maton G7th Capo.

I wanted to try updating/upgrading my trusty old Jim Dunlop Capo, which I have owned and used extensively over the last 40 years!!! A Google search of the best capos on offer in 2023 suggested the Maton G7th (weighing in at a hefty $99:00c.) was top of everyone's list. The Dunlop Capo always allowed me to place it hard up against the fret wire of the preceding fret, thereby giving my hand plenty of extra room to manoeuvre between chords and runs. By comparison, I quickly discovered that unless I place the Maton Capo in the middle of the fret, the D & G strings start buzzing. I'd happily entertain the notion that maybe I'm just not using the Maton Capo correctly, but there really are no advanced or secret skills in using a capo. The Maton Capo has proved to be inferior, when compared to my extremely old Dunlop Capo. If that was not already sufficiently unsatisfactory, Maton also have the audacity to charge me 5 times the price for for the privilege of being disappointed with their product!!!
