Stunning guitar, amazing sound and great staff at acoustic centre. Body shape and colour is perfect and absolutely gorgeous. I defiantly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this guitar to anyone and would defiantly buy again from here!
I have played many acoustics over the years and found that my SRS808 that i bought for myself as a christmas present in 2016 is by far the best playing and sounding 808 shape guitar ive ever put my hands on. The neck is crafted to perfection, the action, straight off the production line was near on perfect the fretwork is outstanding, begging to be played hard but at the same time giving you that tactile precision and feel that lends itself to more classical or fingerpicking playing styles, the rich tones the cedar top and other tonewoods produce are just magical for a smaller style guitar body, every song i seem to know sounds 10x better on my 808. I struggle to find a fault of the Maton SRS808. Maybe the only thing i can fault it for is that it didnt come into my life earlier. Thanks for crafting a perfect musical instrument. Much love, Rob
When I was looking for a small-bodied acoustic it was hard to look past the srs808. I had tried Martins and Guilds among other brands in the price range, but none provided the warm and sparkle of the Maton SRS808. What I noticed when I first played it was how resonant and loud it was for a small-body, and how tight the bottom-end was. Have a lot of depth for different styles of playing. The Ap5 Pro pickup also makes the plugged-in sound amazing, being able to blend the pickup and mic gives great dynamic between solo and band performances. A guitar that is hard to put down!
