The Maton SRS808C comes from the Solid Road Series and pairs expert Australian craftsmanship with premium tonewoods for an impressively balanced, responsive sound. Solid Blackwood back and sides sit beneath an "A" grade spruce top, delivering warm mids, clear trebles and a full low end, while the 808 body with its soft cutaway offers excellent playability and projection. Forward-shifted, scalloped Maton X bracing and a tone bar enhance top vibration and overall resonance, giving the guitar genuine punch and clarity.

A Queensland Maple neck and streaky ebony fingerboard add smooth playability and tonal brightness, and the natural satin finish lets the resonance of the timbers come through. Maton's AP5-Pro pickup system ensures the guitar sounds just as good plugged in as it does unplugged, making it ideal for fingerpickers and strummers alike who need a versatile performer for studio sessions or live gigs. It comes complete with a standard Maton hardcase for reliable protection.
