AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Maton Troubadour Dreadnought Acoustic Electric Guitar is an ideal instrument for singer-songwriters who seek a reliable partner on stage. Designed to enhance both intimate ballads and anthemic compositions, the Troubadour offers a versatile and powerful tone, perfectly suited for a variety of musical styles. With its solid Spruce top and solid Queensland Maple back and sides, the guitar delivers a crisp, balanced sound with clear projection and resonance. The guitar's scalloped Maton X bracing further enhances its tonal clarity and response, ensuring a dynamic performance whether you are playing softly or projecting boldly.
The smooth Mahogany neck of the Troubadour Dreadnought makes it incredibly comfortable to play, allowing for effortless movement across the fretboard. The Streaky Ebony fingerboard and bridge add brightness to the rich, warm tones of the guitar, while its Herringbone binding and rosette offer an elegant touch to its aesthetic appeal. Whether you are playing on stage or in the studio, the Troubadour ensures that your music shines through with the AP5 PRO pickup system, which provides excellent amplification without compromising the instrument’s natural sound.
In addition to its exceptional tone and playability, the Maton Troubadour Dreadnought comes with a Maton Hardshell Case for protection, making it a perfect companion for musicians on the go. Its craftsmanship and attention to detail reflect Maton’s commitment to quality, and the guitar is built using responsibly sourced materials. With its combination of craftsmanship, performance, and tone, the Maton Troubadour Dreadnought is a guitar designed to inspire and support musicians at every stage of their musical journey.

We endeavour to show the actual instrument in stock whenever possible, but the guitar in stock may differ slightly from the one shown on our website. Materials used can look different from guitar to guitar, including timber grain and colour, parts colours and finishing. If an instrument is a one-of-a-kind or preowned guitar, the picture will always be of the actual guitar in stock, but production models may have slight variations to the picture shown.
If you're after a particular look, feel free to email us at info@acousticcentre.com.au or send us a message through our chat service to request photos of the actual guitar in stock. We are more than happy to send through pictures of all in-stock guitars, to make your choice easier.
Please note that returns will not be accepted for variations in timber grain / colouring, finish variations and parts colouring, unless there is a fault with the instrument.
