Katoh MCG40SSEQ Classical Electric Guitar

Available at Acoustic Centre Melbourne

The Katoh MCG40SSEQ takes the same solid-top formula as the MCG40 series and adds a cutaway body and onboard electronics, making it a natural choice for classical players who need to plug in. A solid spruce top delivers a free, dynamic vibration that translates into expressive, responsive playing, while sapele back and sides keep the tone clean and well balanced from the lowest string to the highest.

A Fishman iSys pickup system gives you reliable, natural amplified tone with full control on stage or in the studio, and the cutaway body makes the upper frets easy to reach for players moving beyond first position. Spanish fan bracing, a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, and Indian rosewood binding and bridge carry over the same build quality as the rest of the range, finished with Katoh gold tuning machines for dependable tuning stability. Ideal for classical guitarists who want the flexibility to perform live or record without sacrificing acoustic tone.
