The Godin Multiac Mundial Grand Concert Mahogany Deluxe is the most sophisticated and tonally refined nylon-string performance instrument in the current Godin range - a 2025 evolution of the Multiac Grand Concert platform developed in close collaboration with LR Baggs to deliver an electronics system of exceptional naturalness, nuance, and expressive capability specifically calibrated for classical and flamenco styles. Where the Multiac Nylon String SA is designed for crossover accessibility, the Grand Concert Mahogany Deluxe is designed first and foremost for the serious classical and flamenco player who demands the most authentic and tonally transparent amplified nylon-string experience available in a feedback-resistant performance instrument.

The two-chambered mahogany body with solid cedar top provides the characteristic warmth, immediacy, and natural resonance that makes cedar such a beloved and tonally appropriate top wood for classical and flamenco playing - responding with warmth and expressiveness to the lightest touch and producing a naturally warm, complex tonal voice well-suited to the expressive demands of classical technique. The LR Baggs electronics system is the instrument’s most significant achievement: six individual saddle transducers capture each string independently for optimal balance and separation, while the LR Baggs Lyric microphone captures the subtle nuances, percussive textures, and fingernail articulation that a piezo-only system invariably misses. Adjustable tape saturation simulation and phase control provide further tonal shaping capability, and the blendable signal path between the saddle transducers and Lyric mic allows the performer to dial in exactly the acoustic character they need for any context. The chambered body design provides feedback resistance without sacrificing acoustic response. 2" Graphtech nut, Richlite fingerboard and bridge with 24" radius, 25.66" scale, 19 frets, bolt-on mahogany neck, 16:1 machine heads, and high-gloss natural finish complete an instrument of considerable performing sophistication.

Features

  • Two-chambered mahogany body with solid cedar top delivers the warmth, immediacy, and natural resonance that makes cedar the defining top wood choice for classical and flamenco nylon-string playing - responsive to the lightest touch and tonally complex across the full dynamic range.
  • Custom voiced LR Baggs electronics system combines six individual saddle transducers for per-string clarity and balance with the LR Baggs Lyric microphone for natural nuance, percussive texture, and fingernail articulation - a blendable, fully adjustable system of exceptional tonal authenticity.
  • Adjustable tape saturation simulation and phase control provide further tonal shaping capability within the onboard preamp - allowing the performer to optimise the amplified sound for any stage or studio context.
  • Two-chambered body design provides reliable feedback resistance at stage volume without sacrificing acoustic response or body resonance - the defining practical advantage of Godin’s chambered construction for the performing musician.
  • 2" Graphtech nut, 24" fingerboard radius, and 25.66" scale length provide traditional classical guitar playing dimensions - a specification calibrated for the serious classical and flamenco player rather than the crossover steel-string guitarist.
