The National Reso-Phonic Hotplate Resonator Pickup is an innovative design created with artist Mike Dowling to replace the National Style 9.5" coverplate without any modification to the instrument. A sieve hole coverplate is fitted with a hand-wound Lollar single coil Tele-style pickup, run through a 1/4" output jack for straightforward amplification.

Passive volume and tone controls give simple, reliable tone shaping, while enlarged coverplate screw holes make installation easy. Fitted as standard equipment on the National ResoTone Electric resonator, it's ideal for resonator players who want a genuine amplified tone without altering their instrument.
