The National Reso-Phonic Hotplate Resonator Pickup is an innovative design created by National Reso-Phonic and artist Mike Dowling to replace the National Style 9.5" coverplate without any modification to the instrument. Its sieve hole coverplate houses a luscious-sounding, hand-wound Lollar single coil Tele-style pickup, giving resonator players a straightforward path to amplified tone.

Passive volume and tone controls let you shape the amplified signal on the fly, while the 1/4 inch output jack connects straight to any amp or PA. Enlarged coverplate screw holes make installation fast and simple, and the Hotplate is ideal for resonator players who want warm, characterful amplification without altering their instrument - it's fitted standard to the National ResoTone Electric resonator.
