The Atkin The Nineteen is a compact slope-shoulder acoustic designed to deliver rich, warm tone in a highly playable format. Released in 2019 and developed in collaboration with Alister Atkin and Rudi Bults of The Fellowship of Acoustics, this model blends vintage inspiration with refined modern craftsmanship. With its smaller body dimensions and short scale length, The Nineteen feels closer to an orchestra-sized guitar while retaining the character and presence of a classic slope shoulder.

A baked Sitka spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides produces a warm, rounded voice that’s perfectly suited to vocal accompaniment, fingerstyle playing, and light flatpicking. Pre-war scalloped bracing enhances responsiveness and low-end depth, while the comfortable mahogany neck and Santos rosewood fingerboard provide a smooth, familiar feel. Finished in Atkin’s beautifully executed aged or mirror gloss lacquer, The Nineteen is an elegant, musically expressive instrument built for players who value tone, balance, and intimacy.
