The Atkin The Nineteen is a compact slope-shoulder acoustic designed to deliver rich, warm tone in a highly playable format. Released in 2019 and developed in collaboration with Alister Atkin and Rudi Bults of The Fellowship of Acoustics, this model blends vintage inspiration with refined modern craftsmanship. With its smaller body dimensions and short scale length, The Nineteen feels closer to an orchestra-sized guitar while retaining the character and presence of a classic slope shoulder.

A baked Sitka spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides produces a warm, rounded voice that’s perfectly suited to vocal accompaniment, fingerstyle playing, and light flatpicking. Pre-war scalloped bracing enhances responsiveness and low-end depth, while the comfortable mahogany neck and Santos rosewood fingerboard provide a smooth, familiar feel. Finished in Atkin’s beautifully executed aged or mirror gloss lacquer, The Nineteen is an elegant, musically expressive instrument built for players who value tone, balance, and intimacy.

Free courier shipping on all instruments over $999 to designated areas* – some exceptions apply. Express shipping is available for an additional fee of $79.

Shipments on orders below $499 will incur a shipping charge of $69 for Standard Shipping or $149 for Express Shipping. Orders between $499 and $999 will incur a shipping charge of $49 for Standard Shipping or $129 for Express Shipping.

Exemptions: TAS / WA / NT / FNQ and any non-metro or rural areas. Shipments on orders to these areas below $499 will incur a shipping charge of $129 for Standard Shipping or $199 for Express Shipping. Orders between $499 and $1999 will incur a shipping charge of $99 for Standard Shipping or $179 for Express Shipping.

Used instruments fall outside of our usual shipping policy, and shipping to most addresses will be $69 - $99, as shown at checkout.

Heavy items may incur additional freight charges, based on courier rates. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.

ACCESSORIES
Free standard Australia Post shipping on all accessories over $99 Australia-wide. Express shipping is available for an additional $15. Orders below $99 incur a flat rate shipping charge of $11.

Occasionally, due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free shipping. We reserve the right to retract the 'free shipping' offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.

All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery. Please note that all instruments, amplifiers and large items will require a signature on delivery. We cannot give authority to leave an item without a signature unless we have the purchasers written authority to do so.

Materials used can look different from guitar to guitar, including timber grain and colour, parts colours and finishing. If an instrument is a one-of-a-kind or preowned guitar, the picture will always be of the actual guitar in stock, but production models may have slight variations to the picture shown.

Please note that returns will not be accepted for variations in timber grain /  colouring, finish variations and parts colouring, unless there is a fault with the instrument.
