Martin OM-42 Acoustic Guitar: Standard Series

The Martin OM-42 Standard is a masterclass in tone, craftsmanship and aesthetic detail. With its solid spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides, this Orchestra Model delivers remarkable tonal balance, rich overtones and responsive dynamics that shine in both fingerstyle and flatpicking contexts. A full 25.4" scale length enhances note clarity and projection, while scalloped X-bracing ensures the top sings with vibrant resonance and sustain. It's a guitar built for serious players who demand elegance, precision and timeless tone.

Dressed in deluxe appointments, the OM-42 features Style 45 Snowflake inlays, abalone top inlay, multi-stripe rosette, antique white binding and gold open-gear tuners. Its genuine mahogany neck is carved to Martin's GE Modified Low Oval profile, paired with a smooth ebony fingerboard for exceptional playability. Part of Martin's updated Standard Series, the OM-42 merges vintage-inspired detail with modern enhancements, ideal for players seeking a flagship-level instrument for stage or studio.
