Furch Pioneer-CMe a 'Western Red Cedar / African Mahogany' 'Natural' Travel Acoustic Electric Guitar

The Furch Pioneer-CM a is an all-solid travel acoustic guitar that proves compact instruments don’t have to compromise on tone. A solid Western red cedar top paired with solid African mahogany back and sides gives this short-scale guitar a warm, responsive voice with rich overtones, excellent balance, and impressive projection for its size - offering the depth and nuance serious players expect from a full-scale instrument. Cedar’s characteristic warmth and immediate responsiveness makes it a particularly well-matched choice for the Pioneer’s shorter scale length, delivering a naturally open and musically engaging acoustic voice that rewards light touch and expressive playing technique with equal sensitivity.

Built with Furch’s most advanced technologies, the Pioneer-CM a benefits from an individually voiced solid cedar soundboard, the Booster Soundport resonator for enhanced projection and player monitoring, and the CNR System Active neck design that automatically adjusts string action in response to humidity and temperature changes - the combination of features that makes this the most sophisticated travel acoustic guitar available at any price point. The LR Baggs EAS-VTC (Enhanced Acoustic System with Volume, Tone, and Clarity controls) adds discreet, natural acoustic-electric capability ideally suited to the Pioneer’s performing ambitions - a side-mounted active system with passive-sounding character that captures the cedar top’s warmth and the mahogany body’s natural resonance with minimal coloration, making this as capable on stage as it is in the living room or on the road. Black TUSQ nut and saddle, ebony fingerboard and bridge, Furch Chrome 1:18 tuners, anti-scratch transparent pickguard, open-pore finish, and high-protection gig bag complete a travel guitar specification of genuinely world-class ambition.
