AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Maton Master Built L.E. May is a bold step forward in acoustic guitar design that still carries Maton's time-honoured craftsmanship. Now led by Patrick Evans and a handpicked team of expert luthiers, the Master Built series uses acoustic mapping and material science to individually voice and carefully build each instrument, delivering tonal excellence that rivals the world's finest guitars.
The L.E. May pays tribute to the iconic W.A. May model with a traditional deep body cutaway, a redesigned compact headstock and period-inspired appointments. A European spruce top offers clear, articulate highs, while figured Victorian Blackwood back and sides add warmth, balance and resonance. Bound in Satin Box timber with BWB pinstriping and finished in gloss natural, it's fitted with Maton's AP5 PRO pickup system, making it ideal for players who want a premium instrument that is as stage-ready as it is beautiful.
