AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Gibson ES-330 is one of the purest expressions of the fully hollow thinline electric guitar — a direct descendant of the late 1950s original and one of the most tonally distinctive instruments in the Gibson catalogue. Unlike the ES-335, the ES-330 has no centreblock, meaning the body is completely hollow and the tone is correspondingly warmer, more resonant, and more acoustically alive. This 2018 Memphis-built example pairs that classic hollow-body character with MHS (Memphis Historic Spec) P-90 pickups — among the most articulate and dynamically expressive single-coil pickups Gibson produces — in one of the most iconic and timeless finish options available.
With its rounded C neck profile, ABR-1 bridge, thinline trapeze tailpiece, and Orange Drop capacitors throughout, the ES-330 is built to a specification that honours the original without compromise. Ideal for jazz, blues, rockabilly, and indie players who want a genuinely responsive, touch-sensitive hollow-body electric with authentic vintage character.
This 2018-built guitar is in wonderful condition, with only light playwear and pick scratches on the pickguard, and a simply glorious, three-dimensional Tobacco Sunburst nitro finish. It's featherweight and has all the jangle and chime you could ever need, with a great midrange snarl when you turn up the volume. Playability is fantastic, with a slinky buzz-free action and a great 60's-style slim C neck. A classic hollowbody with sophisticated looks and vintage charm! Includes original hardshell case.
