The Maton RM-6 Mini Maton showcases the distinctive voice of Maton’s Redwood Series in a compact and highly portable package. Combining a solid Redwood top with Tasmanian Myrtle back and sides, this Australian-made instrument delivers a rich and surprisingly complex tonal character that belies its smaller dimensions. Redwood shares some of the warmth and responsiveness of Western Red Cedar but offers greater treble presence and dynamic range, while Tasmanian Myrtle contributes smooth articulation, warmth, and sustain. Together, they create a remarkably expressive guitar that responds beautifully to even the lightest touch.

Designed for players who want premium Maton tone in a travel-friendly format, the RM-6 features a comfortable Mini body shape, Queensland Maple neck, and Streaky Ebony fingerboard and bridge. The renowned AP5 PRO pickup system faithfully captures the guitar’s natural voice for live performance and recording, while premium appointments including Grover Rotomatic tuners, bone nut and saddle, and a satin natural finish complete the package. Whether you're songwriting at home, travelling, or performing on stage, the RM-6 offers the craftsmanship, tone, and playability that have made Maton one of Australia's most respected guitar builders.
