Santa Cruz Parabolic Tension Strings are the product of over a decade of research into precision core-to-wrap ratios, engineered to achieve optimal tension on every string rather than relying on gauge alone. The result is improved EQ across the whole instrument, with richer sustain and clarity whether strumming, fingerpicking or flatpicking.

Built with nickel- and lead-free metallurgy and a protective micro-coating, each string is precision-wound to tolerances of half a thousandth of an inch, resisting corrosion while preserving tone and feel. Ideal for players seeking enhanced responsiveness and reduced finger fatigue, with Low Tension suited to small-bodied guitars and Mid Tension suited to dreadnoughts.
