The Schaller Oyster External Pickup is a brilliantly simple, passive contact pickup that delivers a natural and powerful reproduction of your instrument’s true tone. With no need for batteries or preamps, the Oyster offers plug-and-play convenience while capturing every nuance of your performance. This single external piezo pickup uses a unique combination of diaphragm, piezo element, and a specially developed plastic contact gel to ensure accurate and dynamic sound.
Installation is quick and reversible. You can mount the Oyster using the included dual-sided adhesive foil or the alternative removable gluing pad—both of which leave no damage to the instrument’s finish. Whether you're working with a highly resonant acoustic guitar or need to play at louder volumes, Schaller provides options to optimize your setup, including silicon rubber for added hold and performance. Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Used instruments fall outside of our usual shipping policy, and shipping to most addresses will be $69 - $99, as shown at checkout.
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
