Cort SFX-Myrtlewood Acoustic Electric Guitar

The Cort SFX-Myrtlewood Acoustic Electric Guitar blends cutting-edge craftsmanship with premium tonewoods to deliver a contemporary acoustic experience. Designed for maximum comfort and versatility, it features Cort’s signature slim body shape with a comfortable cutaway, arched back, and a modern V-shaped neck profile. These ergonomic design elements make it ideal for both stage performance and extended practice sessions, offering effortless playability and tonal richness.

Constructed with all-Myrtlewood for the top, back, and sides, this guitar boasts a striking visual character and a bright, articulate tone with excellent projection. The solid top is treated using Cort’s exclusive Aged to Vintage (ATV) process, mimicking the responsiveness and warmth of a well-played vintage acoustic. A UV-cured open-pore finish enhances the guitar’s resonance while protecting it against wear. Equipped with a Fishman Presys II preamp system, it delivers dynamic, natural-sounding amplification with onboard EQ, tuner, and Phase control.

Key Features:

  • Solid Myrtlewood top with Myrtlewood back and sides for bright, balanced tone

  • Cort’s Aged to Vintage (ATV) treatment offers a broken-in, vintage sound

  • Slim SFX body with arched back and V-shape neck for enhanced comfort and playability

  • Fishman Presys II electronics with 2-band EQ, tuner, and Phase switch

  • UV finish adds durability while preserving natural resonance and tone
