This is an excellent accessory to have in your kit if your hands are no longer able to use the standard clamp style capo. So easy to use, very simple operation, snaps on easily and adjusts to the tension needed for a clean sound. Flicks on and off the neck with no issues. Very well constructed solid bit of gear. Should have bought one for my 12 string years ago. (Already had one for my 6 string.)
Yep a pretty good capo. I'm using it on a Gibson 12 string but the width of the back brace doesn't quite fit therefore making a bit tricky to clamp. Also wished Shubb made a compensated one like the G7th guys so i wouldn't have to retune.

On first use I think I prefer the Shubb to the Taylor 12 string capo I purchased at the same time. Both eliminate the buzz I was getting on my 12 string Taylor and Rickenbacker 12 with the different capos I had but the Shubb seems quicker and easier to use ; time will tell . They are both good and do the job.

I feel the capo needs to be a little longer. My 12 string takamine,s neck is almost more narrow than the capo. Requires a lot of care in placing the capo exactly and a great deal of pressure to tighten the capo on the strings. I have just had new frets fitted. If shubb make a wider capo I would buy it!
